This summer, I had the pleasure of spending four days in Puglia, one of my absolute favourite places in the world, with a group of wonderful friends. I’m excited to share some images from the stunning locations we visited and the jewellery I brought along.
We stayed in a charming complex of trulli, traditional stone dwellings with distinctive cone-shaped roofs, unique to the Puglia region of Italy. Our journey took us to the picturesque Itria Valley and the iconic town of Alberobello, which we, of course, explored! Throughout the holiday, my go-to jewellery was a pair of memory of a small gem stud earrings. They are not only comfortable but also so easy to wear at all times.
We swam in the the crystal-clear sea, visiting several beaches. My favorite was Torre Guaceto, a hidden gem that's a bit tricky to reach but absolutely worth the effort. The sea is pristine, and even during high season, it’s wonderfully uncrowded.
To add a touch of glamour, I wore my Large mother of Pearl Earrings while my friend wore the Briolette memories pendant with blue and green agate stones.
One of the reasons I adore this part of Italy is its enchanting towns like Monopoli, Villafranca, and Ostuni. Choosing a favorite is tough, but the white marble and beautifully decorated buildings of Villafranca hold a special place in my heart. Here’s Kelly wearing the Pink lenses earrings while strolling through Monopoli.
We were captivated by majestic sunsets, both in the charming towns and as they reflected off the waves. Naturally, I paired these moments with my oval carnelian earrings, whose rich orange hues perfectly complemented the setting sun.
Then, fully recharged with vitamin D, I got back in London and back in the workshop.
I’d love to hear about the jewellery you like to take on holidays and if you need any suggestions for a trip to Puglia!
